Overview Sample Description Soil sample comes from an alfalfa field that was recently sprayed in May 2020 for Alfalfa Weevil, Hypera Postica. Sample was collected using a flat headed screwdriver to pry up a clod of dry soil about the size of a tennis ball. The sample was then promptly placed into a quart sized ziplock back and sealed. Lambda-cyhalothrin and Chlorpyrifos were the pesticides sprayed in May 2020. The owner also said that they had not sprayed the field with pesticides for several years prior to May 2020.
